Here is a whole home condo remodel that we completed recently in Kirkland.  We worked with Nancy, designer at Island Color Creations who was responsible for paint color, cabinet design, and floor coverings.  Once the details were sorted out and approved by the homeowner, we carried out our plan to remodel the entire 2000 SF condo.

The Process

This was a total transformation, we started by removing all floor coverings, wallpaper, all trim and millwork, doors, cabinets, …everything.  The tough part was getting all debris down from the condo located on the third floor.  We decided that bringing that much debris down a shared hallway and through the elevator was going to be too much of a burden to the neighbors so we elected instead to remove everything from the side of the building in a scissor lift.  The neighbors were pleased, as it kept the hallway free and there was no possibility of damaging the finishes of the building.  We had all materials ordered and stored ahead of time so soon as the demolished materials were removed and disposed of, we were able to stock the condo of all materials needed to do the remodel in the same way up the side of the building.  We met our scheduling goal for this project in a total of 46 days from start to finish.  All new doors and millwork were installed throughout the condo, the bedrooms all received new Tuftek carpet, and custom closet organizers.  In the kitchen we installed new Canyon Creek cabinets, with Cambria countertops, all new appliances, new plumbing fixtures, new lighting including toe kick and under cabinet lights all sitting on travertine tile.  Bathrooms received new plumbing fixtures, and heated travertine tile.  The entire condo then was primed and painted with two coats of Cashmere paint by Sherwin Williams.  What a great transformation to this beautiful condo overlooking Lake Washington.
